Our History & Course

Seapoint Golf Links is one of the world’s youngest links golf courses, offering a high-quality golfing challenge. Opened in 1993, it has hosted European Tour and Irish PGA tournaments, as well as the Irish Amateur Championship.

The course measures 6,439 meters from the championship tees and caters to golfers of all skill levels with multiple teeing positions.

The layout consists of two loops of nine holes, with the 1st and 10th tees located near the clubhouse and practice range. The 18th hole offers scenic views of the Irish Sea.

Over €1.5 million has been invested in recent upgrades. The venue hosted the Irish Legends in 2023 and 2024 and is set to host the Flogas Men’s Irish Amateur Championship in 2025.

Seapoint Golf Links adhere to the highest standards of etiquette and asks all members and visitors to show due consideration to fellow golfers.

Slow Play

Slow play is not enjoyable for any golfers. We request players to give way if they are holding other groups and to be aware of their position on the course at all times. We request golfers stay “behind the group in front, not in front of the group behind!”.

Environment

Links golf courses are fragile ecosystems and our Greens’ team take every care to prepare the links to the highest possible standards for golfers’ enjoyment. We request golfers help the club to maintain our course by repairing pitch marks, replacing divots and raking bunkers after use.
